Senior Executive│Tax Services

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Executive to join our growing and dynamic Tax Services team at A2CO.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax computations, tax returns and refund claims;
• Maintain an effective and up-to-date register of clients and all forms and documentation submitted;
• Keep abreast of all important deadlines ensuring that clients’ deadlines are met;
• Assist in any updates to the processes and procedures being adopted by the team as may be required;
• Assist senior colleagues in tax advisory projects;
• Assist in the design, implementation and adoption of templates and standardised processes for tax engagements;
• Determine the type of documents and information required for specific tax compliance and advisory tasks;
• Proactively follow up on outstanding information, documentation and incomplete tasks to ensure timely completion of client work;
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders while ensuring a high standard of client service.

Requirements:

• ACCA qualified or equivalent;
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a tax environment;
• Good working knowledge of Maltese tax legislation and tax compliance procedures;
• Knowledge of VAT and/or Transfer Pricing is considered an asset;
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Fluency in Maltese and English, both written and verbal.
