Albert graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and began his career in the fields of anti-money laundering and compliance. His professional experience includes working as part of an outsourced compliance team supporting subject persons in meeting their regulatory obligations. He has also been involved in internal onboarding processes for accounting and audit firms, where he strengthened his understanding of client due diligence, risk assessment, and operational compliance. In addition, his experience with a Company Service Provider firm gave him valuable exposure to regulatory frameworks and the requirements governing licensed entities in Malta. Through these roles, Albert developed a strong understanding of compliance structures and regulatory expectations, which he now applies at A2CO to help clients maintain sound governance and meet their obligations effectively.
