Gabriela Ann Xuereb is a Senior AML Officer at A2CO, bringing strong expertise in anti-money laundering, compliance, and governance. She holds a First Class Honours Degree in Criminology from the University of Malta and was the recipient of the Dean’s Awards for Outstanding Undergraduate Student and Best Gozitan Student in 2025.

Gabriela began her career as a Junior AML Officer, quickly progressing to a Senior AML Officer role within a year. This advancement enabled her to work on more complex regulatory matters and high-level client engagements, further developing her understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks.

At A2CO, Gabriela is responsible for overseeing due diligence processes, conducting regulatory risk assessments, and developing AML frameworks that align with both local and international standards. She also provides essential support to the MLRO and Compliance Officer functions, contributing to compliance outsourcing and advisory projects.

Approved by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) to act as an Internal Auditor, Gabriela continues to expand her expertise in governance, risk, and compliance. Passionate about continuous improvement, she strives to strengthen processes, support clients, and uphold the highest standards of integrity and regulatory adherence.
