Alexandra Dimech is the General Counsel at A2CO and a qualified lawyer with a broad background in commercial and corporate law. After graduating as a Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta and being admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2015, she began her career in litigation, training at a leading law firm before moving into the International Client Services department of a multidisciplinary firm.

Alexandra has been part of A2CO since its inception, where she now serves a dual role as General Counsel to the group while continuing to advise an international client base. Her practice spans multiple sectors, with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. She is known for her pragmatic, solution-oriented approach that aligns legal strategy with business goals.

Her work also extends to gaming regulation, licencing, and compliance, where she is approved by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) for the roles of Key Legal and Key Compliance. In addition, she serves as Compliance Officer for A2CO’s MFSA-authorised Corporate Services Provider arm, strengthening the group’s governance and operational resilience.

Alexandra holds a Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association and continues to play a key role in guiding A2CO’s legal direction and supporting complex cross-border transactions.
