AML Officer

 

Our AML team is growing again. We are seeking an AML Officer with at least 1 year of AML or Compliance experience to join our AML & Compliance team at A2CO. The team specialises in assisting the group in its KYC and AML matters by supporting our MLRO, and to provide AML and Compliance services to a number of customers in various industries, including accounts & audit, tax, gaming, crypto, CSP, financial services and Trust & Trustees. 

What will be your title?


-    AML Officer 

What will be your role?


-    Assist with KYC of both the Group and customers through outsourcing arrangements 
-    Assist with compliance testing on behalf of compliance officers 
-    Assist in name screening and adverse media screening 
-    Assist with upkeep and updating of files as part of our internal ongoing monitoring programme 
-    Assist with the updating of various client lists of the Group 
-    Assisting the MLRO with the completion of regulatory reporting obligations
-    Assist the MLRO with any other compliance related duties 

Who is the ideal candidate?

-    An individual with at least 1 year experience in Compliance and/or KYC 
-    An individual with a degree in Banking & finance OR degree in criminology OR a professional qualification in compliance 
-    An individual who can speak and write in both Maltese and English, as a minimum 
-    An individual with a clean police conduct and who is a resident in Malta 
-    An individual with a positive attitude, who is willing to work and grow with us for the long term

Corporate Assistant

 

An opportunity has arisen to join A2CO’s growing and dynamic team to work as a Corporate Assistant on a diversified portfolio of local and foreign clients. Your role will include the following responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Prepare, review and submit single permit applications on behalf of our clients
•    Ensure that all required documents are accurate, complete and up to date
•    Respond in a timely manner to clients’ queries in relation to relocation of employees and permit applications
•    Corresponding with both clients and respective authorities in a timely manner
•    Act as the first point of contact for any issues that arise during the application process
•    Accompanying clients to respective authorities when necessary
•    Assist in general corporate and administrative duties

Requirements:
•    A minimum experience of 1 year in a similar role
•    Excellent written and verbal Maltese and English
•    You have very good knowledge of excel and word
•    Strong attention to detail
•    Ability to work under own initiative
•    Team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
