An opportunity has arisen to join A2CO’s growing and dynamic team to work as Head of Legal on a diversified portfolio of local and foreign clients.
This is a key leadership role suited for a strategic thinker with strong legal acumen and a passion for excellence. The role offers exposure to a wide range of industries, including iGaming and crypto.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee and coordinate the work of the legal team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.• Provide legal advice to management and clients on regulatory, corporate, and commercial issues.
• Review and supervise work performed by team members, maintaining high standards of quality.
• Uphold the firm’s quality control standards across all legal services delivered.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members on client engagements, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Liaise with external counsel, regulatory authorities, clients, and internal departments as required.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, keeping partners and clients informed of progress and any developments.
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to the growth of the legal services function.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
• Support senior management with ad hoc legal and client-related requests.
Requirements
• A team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• A warranted lawyer, qualified to practice in Malta.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a law firm or corporate service provider environment.
• Strong background in corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Excellent written and verbal Maltese and English.
• Attention to detail and quality oriented
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Whether you already work in client accounting and are up for a new challenge, or whether you have relevant accounting experience and want to start your journey in client accounting at the right place, we have what you are looking for!
The day-to-day duties for our portfolio of clients differs from the usual tedious bookkeeping – while we still maintain our clients’ books, assist them with their management reporting needs, and handle their VAT compliance obligations, our diverse portfolio promises working alongside our closely knit teams of lawyers, tax advisors and corporate professionals. Coupled with exposure to numerous industries including iGaming, venture capital and crypto, this position ensures that you gather proper experience that will shape your career.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Record financial transactions for a portfolio of local and international clients
• Perform periodical reconciliations
• Prepare management reporting
• Prepare VAT reporting
• Review work of junior team members
• Work alongside colleagues from our legal, corporate and tax teams on engagements that are not solely accounting related
• Support management with ad-hoc client requests
• Mentor and support junior team members
Requirements:
• A team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Pursuing a degree or recognised qualification in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years experience in Accounting or Auditing
• Curiosity to learn and ambitious to grow
• Attention to detail and quality oriented

An opportunity has arisen to join A2CO’s growing and dynamic team to work as a Corporate Assistant on a diversified portfolio of local and foreign clients. Your role will include the following responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review and submit single permit applications on behalf of our clients
• Ensure that all required documents are accurate, complete and up to date
• Respond in a timely manner to clients’ queries in relation to relocation of employees and permit applications
• Corresponding with both clients and respective authorities in a timely manner
• Act as the first point of contact for any issues that arise during the application process
• Accompanying clients to respective authorities when necessary
• Assist in general corporate and administrative duties
Requirements:
• A minimum experience of 1 year in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal Maltese and English
• You have very good knowledge of excel and word
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
